Michael Allen Garren, 59, of Logan, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, at his mother’s home in Columbus. Mike was born on May 27, 1965, in Columbus, the son of Karen Sue (Little) Cole and the late Gene Allen Garren.

Mike was a member of the Logan Moose Lodge 873 and the Logan Eagles 2168. He was an excellent pool player and frequented pool tournaments at The Max. Mike also enjoyed hunting.

Mike is survived by his mother; sons, Wyatt Allen Garren of Logan and Brady Michael Garren of Nelsonville; daughter, Gracie Francis Garren of Athens; sister, Terrie (Mark) Rummel of Columbus; stepbrother, Matthew Garren of Logan; stepmother, Audrey Garren of Logan; fiancé, Maritza Duque; nieces and nephews, Amber (Gary) Dzodan, Todd (Amanda) Rathburn, and Shane Rathburn; and great nieces and nephews, Gavin Dzodan, Abby Dzodan, Hunter Rathburn, and Emma Rathburn.

Mike was preceded in death by his father and stepfather, Michael Cole.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery, Logan. Family and friends may visit from 12 to 2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
