Michael Keith "Mike" Garrett

Michael "Mike" Keith Garrett was born August 21, 1962 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Marie (Treadway) Garrett and Junior Garrett. Mike passed away on January 13, 2026 at his home on Beaver Mountain at the age of 63. Mike made his home on Beaver Mountain where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had an elaborate hunting cabin where he enjoyed watching his deer. He named each one and enjoyed telling stories about them. He worked hard on his land, keeping it mowed and landscaped like a city park. He enjoyed family gatherings, especially Christmas. He was a truck man, he owned several Fords throughout the years and even one Chevy. During his lifetime, Mike did farm work and enjoyed riding horses. He worked in the oil field as a pumper, the health care field as a CNA and was very proud to be the owner/operator of Whitefield Tire for many years before his retirement in 2016.

Mike is survived by his sister, Vicky Harrell; nephew Joe Wesley Garrett Harrell; niece, April and Kyle Burch, their children, Kearstin Burch and Kaden Burch; his sister, Judy Bray and husband Mike; nephews, Jerry Bray and wife Tammy, Bobby Bray, Justin Bray and wife Erin. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Junior and Marie Garrett.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jack Sloan officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Holden and Rick McCarroll.
