Michael Ray Garwatoski, age 50, of Lockbourne, Ohio departed this life on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Grant Medical Center. Michael was almost a Christmas baby born on December 23, 1974 to Patricia Ann Howland Garwatoski and Anthony Stanley Garwatoski in Aurora, Colorado. Michael graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 1993. Michael married the love of his life, Mitzie Buckingham Garwatoski who precedes him in death. Michael is survived by both parents, Patricia and Anthony; step mom Phyllis Garwatoski, step son Russell Buckingham, of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Anthony (Debbie) Garwatoski, of Des Moines, Iowa, Mark (Jami) Garwatoski, of Lockbourne, Ohio and Daniel (Julie) Garwatoski, of Luxemburg, Luxemburg; step brother, Tim Smith; step sister, April Smith; nephews, Ryan, Austin, and Nick; great nephew Ellis; nieces, Danielle (Owen) Lawrence, Katheryn and Alyssa. Michael is also survived by his numerous friends from the dungeons and dragons realm, UPS, and his church, Westside Free Will Baptist Church. In keeping with his wishes, Michael will be cremated and buried with is wife.
