Michael Leonard Gauthier

GAUTHIER, Michael Leonard – of Clio, age 67, died Friday, January 2, 2026 at Hurley Medical Center. Honoring Michael's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Michael was born March 29, 1958 in Flint, Michigan to the late Joseph and Beverly (Minglecook) Gauthier. He grew up in Clio, Michigan and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1976. Michael proudly served his country in the US Marines. He worked as a carpenter his entire life. Michael enjoyed going to his cabin in Lewiston, Michigan and boating with his family and friends. He always liked to have a cold Budweiser and enjoyed picking on his nieces and cousins. However, his greatest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are: Sons, Ryan (Veronica) Gauthier, Bryce Gauthier; Grandchildren, Nolan Gauthier, Ledger Gauthier; Life Partner, Jody Gauthier; Siblings, Albert Gauthier, Jeff (Crystal) Gauthier; several nieces and nephews; Special Friends, Zack (Kim) Whaley.
