Michael "Gibby" Gibson, 40, of Williamsville, NY, passed away on April 14, 2024. Mike was born on April 5, 1984, to loving Christopher and Julia Gibson. He was a graduate of Royalton Hartland High School and later attended ITT Technical Institute to further his education.

Michael is survived by his parents, Christopher and Julia Gibson, His sister Nicole (Gibson) Sipple, Brother-in-law Justin Sipple, Nephew Aiden Sipple and Niece Haisley Sipple. Grandmother Theresa Bond, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Gibby also leaves behind beloved friends Greg and Jennifer Taper.

Michael, affectionately known as Gibby by many, leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to his family and friends. Gibby would put everyone else before himself. He was someone you could rely on and know that his affection for you was genuine. Gibby’s hobbies varied from being an airplane aficionado—where he pursued flying lessons and even achieved a milestone with a solo flight—to a passionate follower of football, baseball, and hockey. Gibby was also widely known in the online gaming community. He shared his love, knowledge, and enthusiasm for aviation and the Buffalo Bills with his nephew, Aiden. Gibby wouldn't miss watching a Buffalo Bills game. His sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts, but his spirit will forever inspire us and live on in the memories we cherish.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Gibby's life will be held at a later date.

Rest in peace, Gibby. Your love for sports, airplanes, and your gracious heart for family will always be remembered.
