Michael Duane "Poncho" Gibson

Michael Duane "Poncho" Gibson was born July 26, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio and departed this life Sunday, September 21, 2025, at his residence in Annville, at the age of 71. He was the son of the late Denver & Marie (York) Gibson.
"Poncho" is survived by two children, Michael David Gibson of Annville and Tosha Nicole (Clay) Anderson of Maryville, TN and by his longtime partner, Amy Russell of Annville. Other survivors include sister, Sandy Amyx of Annville and by four brothers, Johnny Gibson of Ohio, Delbert Gibson of Tyner, Denny Gibson and Bill Gibson both of Annville. He was blessed with ten grandchildren, Malachi, Zach, Tank, Micah, Ally, Maisy, Melyssah, Madison, Jacob & Kyler and by three great-grand-children, Zain, Aminah & Kierra.
In addition to his parents, Poncho was also preceded in death by the following siblings, Jimmy Gibson, Preacher Gibson, Donnie Gibson, Ronnie Gibson, Mary Gibson, Thelma Gibson and Dorthy Carter.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee. Burial will follow in the York Cemetery on Conway Road. A visitation will begin at 11 A.M. on Friday at the Lakes Funeral Home Chapel.
