It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Michael Lewis Gomer, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, on January 17, 2025. Michael, aged 78, was a man of boundless warmth, kindness, and joy who touched countless lives with his radiant smile and compassionate spirit.
Born on November 12 in Philadelphia, Michael spent his life spreading joy and building connections through both his personal and professional endeavors. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army, demonstrating unwavering dedication and courage. His remarkable work ethic and passion led him to a successful career as a sales representative at Dellon Sales, where his ability to connect with others and bring positive energy to any room earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
Michael’s greatest joy came from the love of his family. He was the beloved husband of Janet Gomer, a partnership rooted in enduring love and mutual respect. He was the father of Ross Gomer and Andrew Gomer, father-in-law to Jen Gomer and the treasured father-in-law to Shanda Gomer, and the proud grandfather of Zachary, Bryce, Justin, and Jordan, who will forever remember their Pops for his boundless affection and the joy he brought into their lives. He was also a devoted brother who shared a deep bond with his late brothers, Allan Gomer, Roy Gomer, and late sisters-in-law, Barbara Gomer and Bobbie Gomer.
Michael had an extraordinary gift for making people feel valued and uplifted. His infectious humor, bright smile, and welcoming presence made everyone feel at home whenever he walked into a room. He was a man of integrity, generosity, and warmth who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by a large circle of friends, extended family, and all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. His legacy will live on through the love he shared and the smiles he brought to the world.
