Michael Todd Grindle

BUTNER: Michael Todd Grindle, 61, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He was born in Rockingham County, New Hampshire to Patricia Grindle Bullock and the late Ivan Terrance Grindle. In addition to his father, he is also predeceased by his son, Phillip Todd Grindle; sister, Pamela Ann Grindle; grandfather, Howard Williams; grandmother, Naomi Williams; and, three uncles.
Todd had a passion for camping, hunting and car racing. He was a hard-working man who enjoyed his work at Atlantic Coast Construction, his family and his friends. He loved his grandchildren and mother dearly, and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could. Todd was a true family man.
Todd is survived by his mother, Patricia Grindle Bullock; fiancé, Angela "Angie" Michelle Ayscue; uncles, Thomie "Johnny" Williams and wife Judy, and Dannie Joe Williams and wife Dorothy; grandchildren, Alexis Faye Hendrick, Layla Renee Bohannon, Cameron Ray Bohannon, Raelynn Grace Bohannon, Thomas Michael James Bohannon, Noah Shane Harris, Caden Gaige Harris, Leland Tucker Rosario; step-daughter, Beverly Grissom Harris; and many-many cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 13th at Clements Funeral Chapel Durham with Pastor Chase Greene officiating. A graveside service is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Lily Branch Baptist Church Bakersville, NC. The time of the graveside service will be announced.
