Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions - Beavercreek ChapelMichael Herbert Hart, born on March 8, 1946, in Van Wert, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. He was a dedicated individual whose many contributions will be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
Michael's academic journey began at Fairborn High School, leading him to Wright State University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree. Following his education, Michael embarked on a successful career, retiring after 33 years with AT&T. His commitment to the company was highlighted by his status as a lifetime member of the AT&T Pioneers of America, a testament to his dedication and service in the telecommunications industry.
In addition to his professional achievements, Michael proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserves, showing his strong sense of duty and commitment to his country.
Beyond his career and military service, Michael embraced a wide array of hobbies and interests. He enjoyed writing and was passionate about research history, often delving into topics that fascinated him. An avid outdoor sportsman, Michael found inspiration in the fields and streams of Canada, enjoying the beauty of nature. His enthusiasm for sports extended to being a shareholder in the Green Bay Packers, INC, demonstrating his love for football and community.
Michael is survived by his brother Timothy (Carole) Hart, his sister Judith Hart, his grandchildren Arwen, Rowan, Duncan and Bronwen and his nephew Shawn Hart. He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Morgan M. Hart, and his parents, Herbert and Kathleen Hart.
A graveside service will be held at David's Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio, on October 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM.. Michael Herbert Hart's legacy of kindness, passion, and service will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
