Mike was my Principal at HDHS. He had the best smile. I gave him an energizer bunny that clapped cymbals to match his energy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. As parents with sons at HDSD under Mike's time as Principal, he truly was a role model and we thank God for placing Mike in Hillsboro where he touched our kid's lives.
RIP Marilyn and Peter

Mike was the principal who hired me at Hillsboro-Deering, and he was my favorite principal. He was so supportive of everything I taught and really looked out for his faculty. I saw him refereeing a few times recently at the high school and enjoyed catching up with him. He had such a positive outlook on everything. I am so sorry for your loss and I am sorry I did not make it to the service, as I only found out this week. -Michelle Prentiss

To Henderson family, please accept my condolences and prayers for Michael. I met him years ago as a Basketball official referring one of his games he was coaching. He was a terrific coach! Michael will be missed but not forgotten. RIP with the Lord!
