Dejay Alain Ducharme, age 37, of Mason, NH, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Father’s Day, June 15, 2025. Born in Nashua, NH, on April 28, 1988, he was a beloved son of Denis A. and Diane Y. (Nadeau) Ducharme.
The devoted husband of Carly J. (Walsh) Ducharme, Dejay leaves behind three young children: Grant, Wayne, and Faye Ducharme, all of Mason, NH. His legacy lives on through his ten siblings: Steve of Hollis, NH; Sonia Ryan of Haskell, NJ; Jimmy of Nashua, NH; Julie Wismer (Cory) of Alburtis, PA; Peter (Kelly) of Nashua, NH; Patty Alway (Timothy) of Ringwood, NJ; Bonny O’Malley (Michael) of Salem, NH; Kathy Anderson (Daniel) of Gainesville, FL; Vicky of Nashua, NH; and Bobby (Jena) of Merrimack, NH. He is predeceased by his brother, Alain Denau (1996), niece Aspen Wismer (2017) and his beloved dogs, Brewski & Penny. Dejay’s warmth extended to a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Dejay grew up in Nashua where he attended Charlotte Avenue Elementary School and later graduated from Nashua High School North, class of 2007, where he was a member of the men’s hockey team (#21). In his younger years, he served as a master of ceremony at St. Kathryn’s Parish in Hudson, NH.
At a young age, Dejay’s passion for building, construction and working with his hands was sparked while accompanying his father, Denis, to work. Dejay was the proprietor of Ducharme Walls Unlimited, LLC. A crowning achievement was building his family’s home in Mason, a testament to his skill and love for his family.
When not working or splitting wood at home, Dejay’s adventurous spirit came alive through his love for anything with a motor. Snowmobiling in Wyoming near Grand Teton and in Canada with close friends will always be remembered.
Above all, Dejay cherished his wife, Carly, and their three children. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in their lives, though his memory will live on through them.
Visiting hours will be held in the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St., (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Friday, June 20th from 3 – 8 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
