I had the privilege of having Ian in my fourth grade class at Broad Street Elementary School. He was such a kind and thoughtful student-always smiling and bringing laughter to those around him. I´ll never forget when he came back to visit me before graduating high school; I was so proud to wish him well in all that lay ahead. I also had his sister, Brianna, in class, and my heart goes out to her and the entire Blake family during this incredibly difficult time. Keeping them all in my thoughts.

Ian was the most vibrant person we knew. I had the pleasure of coaching him in baseball when my daughter played. My daughter remained friends with him through the years. His smile and personality will be missed. Our deepest condolences to Ian's family and friends.

Ian was one of those kids that would light up a room just by his smile. He was a friend to everyone. He will be missed by all.

Words cannot express my sorry on hearing of Ian's passing. He had recently reconnected with Mrs. Blake and I just prior to his graduation. He had wanted to share his future plans and spoke fondly of his time at Broad Street School. I am heartbroken with his passing and will always remember his smiling face.

Ian Blake was a student in my fifth grade class at Broad St elementary school. During the brief time that I had him, I enjoyed working with him seeing his big smile every day and I always enjoyed his positive. Enthusiasm! He was kind, hard-working and always enthusiastic! My heart goes out to his entire family in particular Brianna, who I also had as a student. I´m sending my love and prayers to all of you! You have my greatest sympathies.
