Michael William Jeffers, 69, of Blue Springs, Missouri, peacefully passed away on March 3, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.
A proud graduate of William Chrisman High School, Class of 1973, Mike married his high school sweetheart, Teresa Kay Hughes, on February 7, 1975. Together, they built a strong and loving life, supporting each other while raising their family.
Mike dedicated over 30 years to the route service industry, working as both a driver and manager. His devotion to his work was only surpassed by his love for his family. His greatest pride was watching his children grow and accomplish their dreams.
An avid bowler, Mike enjoyed countless hours at the lanes, always sharing friendly competition and making lasting memories with friends and family. His humor and lighthearted spirit were contagious, making every game and gathering more enjoyable.
Mike's quick wit and sense of humor brought joy to every moment, and his presence made any occasion brighter. He leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and laughter that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Mike is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Teresa Jeffers; his son, Stephen Jeffers, and his wife, Nikki; his twin daughters, Kimberly Jeffers and Melissa Miller, and her husband, Travis Miller; his sister, Diana Johnson, and her husband, Gary; his brother, Alan Jeffers, and his wife, Jackie; and his adored granddaughter, Morgan Jeffers, who was the light of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred William Jeffers, and his mother, Georgia Mae Jeffers, as well as his mother and father-in-law, Shirley and Norman Hughes, his brother-in-law, Tim Hughes, and his sister-in-law, Coleen Turley, all of whom were cherished members of his family.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Saturday, March 8th, from 1:00–3:00 PM at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 802 NW Vesper St., Blue Springs, MO, 64015.
