Shirley K. Ott, 83, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away at her home on June 21, 2025.
She was born on December 30, 1941, in Yates Center, Kansas. On April 1, 1960, Shirley married Norman Dale Ott in Kansas City, MO. The two shared 57 years of marriage until Norman's passing in 2017. Shirley was employed at GEHA before retiring in 2010. In her free time, she liked reading, boating and skiing in earlier years, and especially cherished time spent with her husband, children and granddaughters at the lake-moments that brought her great happiness. She also enjoyed attending her granddaughters' events through the years as well as her great-grandchildren's various events. Shirley will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, wit and sense of humor.
She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda (Michael) Enss of Oak Grove, MO, and Kala (Randy) Puckett of Grain Valley, MO; her son, Michael (Lori) Ott of Oak Grove, MO; her sister, Linda (James) Price of Lee's Summit, MO; her brother, Ronald Bell of Gladstone, MO; four granddaughters, nine great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
