Michael W. Jobson
September 27, 1951 – May 18, 2025
Michael W. Jobson passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, at the age of 73, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished friend.
Michael shared more than fifty years of marriage with his beloved wife, Joenna M. Jobson. Married on July 24, 1971, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. Michael especially enjoyed traveling with Joenna, discovering new places, and making lasting memories. He also found great joy in camping trips with close friends.
For over thirty years, Michael dedicated himself to his career at United Grocers, where he was admired for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and commitment - qualities he passed down to his children.
Michael's heart was at Crooked River Ranch, where he built his home and poured his energy into caring for it. He was always on the move, cleaning, fixing, or building something. Sitting still was never his way.
His church community was like a second family. He served faithfully in many ways, from running the sound system during worship to mowing the lawn and helping wherever he was needed.
Michael is survived by his wife, Joenna; his sister, Susan; his daughters, Tami (Tom) and Kelli; his son; and his beloved grandchildren: Aidan, Thomas, Signe, Mason, and Treniti. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and all who had the honor of knowing him.
A memorial service celebrating Michael's life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Smith Rock Community Church in Terrebonne, Oregon. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor a life well lived.
Michael will be remembered for the love he gave, the faith by which he lived, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
