Michael King Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers from Mar. 26 to Mar. 27, 2022.
The family of Michael King will celebrate his life of 28 years at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Bacon Heights Baptist Church. His family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, April 01, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. He passed on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

Michael was adopted by Clifton and Dana King at the age of 7. It was a joyful occasion for the family. As a young boy, Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball, and golf. He could sit on a dock and fish for hours. He was very mischievous, to say the least! Michael loved hanging out and having fun with his little brother, Josh. Although they played well together, the two enjoyed pushing the boundaries to see how far they could go before getting into trouble, as little boys do. They would spend hours in the pasture playing army and looking for lizards and such. As an adult, Michael loved his dogs and they were very important to him. He also loved to cook and hoped to get his own Food Truck. In addition, Michael had a desire to learn the art of tattooing. Michael enjoyed Viking paraphernalia and hanging out with his friends. He really liked the girls! It was noted by his friends that Michael was not a very good driver! As a matter of fact, he had a wreck on his first date! His favorite teams were the San Antonio Spurs and the Houston Texans. Michael will be missed by his friends and family.

Survivors include his parents, Clifton, and Dana King; bother, Joshua King; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Ryan Arbogast; nieces, Patyn and Kinsley Arbogast; nephew, Jaxon Arbogast.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Grace King; grandfather, N.C. King; grandfather, Leon Dudley; grandfather, Johnny Burleson; grandmother, Lynette Burleson; Aunt and Uncle Durinda and Lee Roy O'Brien; Aunt, Marla Brown; Uncle Phil Dudley, and many cousins.
