Michael Kolpacki

Michael Kolpacki, born on October 14, 1953, passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 72. He lived a life defined by service, laughter, and deep devotion to his family.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Kolpacki, their 30th anniversary would have been this December the 22nd, just two days after his passing. He was a loving father to Jeff Kolpacki, Michael (Lacey) Kimpe, Melissa (Jason) Hobbs, Michelle Kolpacki, Amanda Spudowski, and Scott Kolpacki, and a proud grandfather to many grandchildren who brought him great joy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominick and Marie Kolpacki.

A man of strong character and dedication, Michael worked for Ford Motor Company while also serving his community as a part-time firefighter and EMT, a role he was extremely proud of. His commitment to helping others reflected his generous heart and sense of responsibility. In his free time, he and Carol enjoyed bowling league nights, creating memories filled with competition, camaraderie, and plenty of laughs.

Michael had a deep interest in politics and presidential history, always eager for thoughtful discussion and sharing his knowledge. Known for his amazing sense of humor, he was constantly joking and keeping spirits high, even during difficult times. His ability to bring lightness and laughter was one of his most cherished qualities.

Michael will be remembered as someone who loved deeply, served proudly, laughed often, and made those around him feel happier simply by being present. He leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and strength that will live on through his family and all who knew him.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, with instate at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 18201 23 Mile Rd in Macomb.
