Michael Kram of Ozark, Missouri, fondly known as "Mike" to his friends and family, and Pepaw to his grand and great-grandkids. Michael Kram was born to Paul and Joan Kram on May 19, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri. Mike lived in several places throughout his life, but his heart always took him to the forests of Ozark, Missouri where he passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 72.
Mike is survived by his siblings Alan Kram and Linda Brandwin and husband Les; son Michael Kram and wife Toni and daughter Julie Smith and husband Patrick; as well as seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Mike was known for having numerous talents, including, but not limited to being an accomplished drummer, breaking horses, a Dog Trainer, a skilled hunter and fisherman throughout his life, and later as a trophy-claiming billiards player in both local and national competitions. His professional life included a soldier in the United States Army, an insurance agent, a craftsman, a K-9 Sheriff's deputy, as well as a jack of all trades for Flat Creek Restaurants. Mike never met a stranger, never said a crossword about anyone, and was loved by so many. He will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral Services for Mike will be 9:30 A.M. Thursday, January 2, 2025 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, with Lynette Aultman officiating. Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri. Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. until service time Thursday in the funeral home. Arrangements under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
