Michael Steven Krnach, 82, of Jackson Township, passed away on June 1, 2025, from an extended illness.
He was born on March 25, 1943 to the late Paul and Elizabeth (Comanitz) Krnach in Massillon, OH.
A life long resident of the Massillon area, he graduated from Washington High School in 1961 and from Canton Business College in 1962. He was a veteran of The United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from Diebold Inc. after more than 50 years of service. He was a devoted member of St. John Lutheran Church. He loved basketball and was in the Canton Amateur Basketball Hall of Fame. A devoted Massillon Tiger fan and member of the Hall of Fame Luncheon Club. He loved gardening, and landscaping, receiving an award from the Canton Garden Club for his Excellent Landscape Design.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Michal "Mickey" (Wilson) Krnach; their children, Kristie M. Krnach, Tricia L. Miller, and Amanda B. Krnach; grandchildren, C.J. (Sara) Miller and Alexandra Miller; great-grandchildren, Carson, Alessi, Ford, and River; his aunt Irene; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul C. Krnach.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, and on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, 1:00 pm at the St John Lutheran Church, with Pastor John Telloni, officiating.
Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
