--Michael John LaBranche, age 76, passed away on June 18, 2025, in Nottingham, NH, after a period of declining health.
He was born on December 27, 1948, in Exeter, NH, the son of the late Henry W. LaBranche and Anita (Marquis) LaBranche. Michael grew up in the Exeter area and graduated from Exeter High School.
From 1969 to 1971, Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army, including service during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, he married the love of his life, Christine "Tina" Bennette, and together they built a life in Brentwood, NH, where they were longtime residents.
Michael worked for over 40 years in the concrete industry as a dedicated foreman for Rila Co, and later retired from Shea Industries in Amesbury, MA. He was raised Catholic, was a former communicant of St. Michael Church, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus in his younger years.
Michael had a passion for the New England Patriots, rarely missing a game and attending many in person throughout his life. He also enjoyed camping and found happiness in life's simple pleasures-especially time spent with family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Tina, and his sister, Joyce Gorski.
He is survived by his son, Aaron LaBranche, his granddaughters, Elizabeth LaBranche and Laura LaBranche, his brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Pam LaBranche, and several nieces and nephews who will remember him with love and gratitude.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 12:30 PM at St. Michael Church, 9 Lincoln St., Exeter, NH. A graveside service with military honor will follow and be held at Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Lianne Dicicco, Herbert Rollins, and the Rollins family and friends for their loving support and care during Michael's end-of-life journey.
