WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of Paul LaBranche, age 56, of Waterbury, share the news of his passing on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Saint Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born on February 17, 1969 in Waterbury, the son of the late Joseph and Isabel (Spencer) LaBranche. He was a proud Waterbury resident who embraced life with patience and warmth. He attended local schools and developed a deep love for sports, particularly wrestling, which was not only a passion but a source of joy as he enjoyed watching it loudly from the comfort of his home. He was an avid fan of the NY Jets and enthusiastically enjoyed basketball. He enjoyed walking everywhere and he loved his family more than anything. Paul’s patience and comforting nature made him beloved by all who knew him.
Left to honor and cherish his memory are his son; Paul N. LaBranche Jr, his brother, Joseph LaBranche, and his sisters; Isabel Torres, Mary Ann LaBranche, Gertrude LaBranche and Aidina Coggins. He also leavesbehind 10 nieces, 2 nephews, many great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other extended family members.
Funeral services for Mr. LaBranche will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
