Michael Anthony Laffoon 70 of Herrin IL, went home to be with the Lord on September 18th in Canon City, Co. With family by his side.

Michael Also known as (Tony) was born November 16th 1954 in Herrin IL to Leroy Laffoon and Lela Mae Burbank Laffoon. Tony met his sweetheart Ramona in 1973 which they dated for five years and in 1978 tied the knot and had 47 wonderful years of marriage together and two sons Benjamin and Michael Laffoon. He also had one granddaughter Molly Love Laffoon which he adored and raised as his own and had a special bond with. Tony was a hardworking devoted husband, brother, father and papa. Tony was a simple man. His smile and laughter could light up any room. In life, He enjoyed his family, riding his Harley and had a sweet tooth for pies,cakes and pastries. He retired from Penn aluminum in Murphysboro, IL in 2017 and moved to Colorado in 2021 to live out his life. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Tony is survived by his wife Ramona Laffoon. sons, Benjamin Laffoon (wife Nichole) Michael Laffoon (Ali)

great granddaughter Mylah key

Brother, David Laffoon (wife Debbie) sisters, joy Laffoon Corder (husband Wes) Patricia Laffoon Farmer (husband Jeff)

Sister in law Treva white ( husband Duane)

Three bonus grandchildren August, Laeklynn and Alexander. Numerous nieces/nephews and extended friends and family.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Leroy & Lela Mae Laffoon. In-laws, Bennie & Imogene Pledger. Half sister Shelbie, half brother Phillip and nephew Bruce.

Celebration of life will be scheduled in Herrin, IL at a later date.
