Michael J. Lanigan, age 50, of Litchfield, MN, died on Sunday, October 9, 2011 in Hutchinson, MN. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, MN with Rev. John Wall officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Michael James Lanigan, the son of Raymond and Theresa (Wimmer) Lanigan, was born on October 27, 1960 in Minneapolis, MN. He enjoyed playing bingo, woodworking, collecting hats and Harley Davidson memorabilia, visiting at the nursing home and spending time with his family and friends. Michael is survived by his children, Michael (and Mary) Lanigan, Mary Lanigan, Melissa Kovarik, Michelle Kovarik and Barbara Kovarik; 13 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Jerry, Linda, Kate (and Glenn), Debbie, Donald, William (and Debbie), Terese (and Charles), Thomas (and Dawn), Patrick and Raymond (and Christi); former wife Debra; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
