Michael Wescott Lavers, 70, passed away peacefully on March 22nd, 2024, in Brunswick, Maine after his courageous battle with cancer.
Born on February 6th, 1954, in Brunswick, Maine, Mike was one of six children to John and Erva Lavers. Mike graduated from Freeport High School in 1973 with high honors and was an electrician for almost his entire life. He had a great passion for animals and enjoyed feeding and watching wildlife. He loved campfires, cookouts and simply being with his family and friends. Mike lived a simple life and wouldn't have had it any other way.
Mike is predeceased by his parents John and Erva Lavers, as well as his two brothers John Lavers and Dean Lavers. Mike is survived by his two brothers; Paul Lavers and Scott Lavers of Freeport. One sister; Sharon Harrison and husband Kenny Harrison of West Forks. Five nephews; Kenny Harrison and wife Susan of Durham, Todd Harrison and wife Michelle of Durham, Jason Lavers and wife Christi of Freeport, Josh and wife Ashley Lavers of Antwerp, Jared Lavers and Christine Messer of New Gloucester. Two nieces; Nicole Stebbins and husband Edward of Cumberland, Korissa Lavers and Cody Stewart of Richmond.
