Michael A. "Mike" LeBlanc, born in Baton Rouge and resident of Prairieville, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the age of 69. Mike enjoyed all things outdoors, including hunting, fishing, gardening, and working in his yard. He worked at a chemical plant in St. Gabriel for over 40 years as a supervisor.
Mike is survived by his wife, Pam LeBlanc; children, Trish Shaffett (Hunter), Phillip LeBlanc, Jason LeBlanc; grandchildren, Aubri "Bri" Shaffett and Stassi Shaffett; siblings, Joe LeBlanc, Ken LeBlanc (Denise), Bobby LeBlanc (Karen), Lance LeBlanc (Trish), Doug LeBlanc (Karen), Linda Hebert (Jerry), Tracie Duplessis (David), Paula Cashio (Eddie), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Mike is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Joseph LeBlanc; mother, Audry Chaney LeBlanc Cashio (Paul).
A memorial service will be held at Chatsworth Plantation of St. Gabriel, LA (5755 Hwy 74 St. Gabriel, LA 70776 on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 2pm until 5pm. This will be a casual event meant to celebrate Mike's life.
