He was born January 22, 1961 and is preceded in death by his parents Harold Delane Loafman and Joyce Steindel.
He is survived by his sisters Cheryl Burden (Darrell), Carole Pippin (Larry Gravil), and Susan Burtoft (late Thomas Burtoft), Delanea Loafman, Jessica Beck (Dwayne), and brothers, Darrell Loafman (Tracy), Jacob Loafman, Nieces Laura Hymer (Brian), Mary Riggsbee (Jeff), Morgan Williams (Trai), Shelby Clements (Andy). Nephews Nicholas Cavalancia (Lauren) & Robert Burns, several great nieces, a great nephew, and numerous cousins.
Michael had a great sense of humor, loving to cut up and laugh. He had a passion for baseball having the pitcher's mound at Lampkin Park named after him. As a left-handed pitcher for the "Mighty Jeeps" he had several "no hitter" victories. He was a phenomenal chess player. Michael and his dog, Champ, went on many excursions. He enjoyed playing cards with his VFW friends.
Michael was a dedicated employee at Goodwill Industries for 27 years and will be greatly missed by his work family.
Funeral Services are at JC Kirby, Lovers Lane will be Thursday, April 4, 2024. Visitation is 11 am to 1 pm with the funeral services beginning at 1 pm.
