Michael Long Obituary
Michael Hampton Long
Michael Hampton Long, age 61, of Easley, passed away on August 11, 2025.
He was born on May 10, 1964 to Carroll Edwin Long and Ruby C. Coker. Michael worked for Duke Energy his entire life. He worked his way up from the bottom to his last position of Systems Coordinator. He enjoyed working in his yard. Michael had a particular fondness for his roses. He loved watching and pulling for his Georgia Bulldogs.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Long; his children, Priscilla Bryson (James), and Christopher McAlister (Miriam); his grandchildren, Natalie Bryson, Tyler Bryson, Cooper McAlister, Londyn Bryson, and one on the way; his mother, Ruby C. Coker; his brothers, Stephen Long, and Anthony Mabrey (Mary); his sister, Pam McClinton (Andy); and his mother-in-law, Ida Holcombe.
He was predeceased by his father, Carroll E. Long; and both his step-fathers, William Alton Childs and William Ed Coker, Jr..
Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:45 PM on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, Easley, SC.
Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM in the Chapel.
