Vivian D. George
Vivian Diane Elrod George, 75, wife of the late Thomas Marion George, Jr., passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025.
Born in Toccoa, GA, she was a daughter of the late Herman and DeDe Elrod.
Mrs. George attended Easley First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved her family and enjoyed watching NASCAR, cheering for her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt.
Surviving are her children, Trina Wilson of Clover, SC, Vickie Gunn of Demorest, GA, and Stanley George of Easley; grandchildren, Matthew Wilson, Brandon Head, Josh Wilson, Anthony George, and Ashley George; great grandchildren, Edward, Sullivan, and Elijah Wilson, Gracie Lynn George, Carson Brown, Brantley George, Ashton, Castle and Camryn Head; sisters, Helen White of Greer and Judy Carruth of Lavonia, GA; and brothers, Aaron Elrod, Charles Elrod and Larry Bowen all of Toccoa, GA.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Dillard Wilson, a sister, Sue Mealor, and a daughter-in-law, Wanda Lynn George.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, 305 W. Main Street, Easley, SC 29640, with a graveside service to follow at 12:30 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.
