Michael Andrew Lyles, 33, of Elkton, tragically passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023 at his home. He was born August 12, 1989 and was the son of Andrew Jackson Lyles Jr. and Judith Vallora Lyles of Elkton.
Michael was preceded in death by grandmothers, Eunice Lyles-Lam, Kathleen E. Waugh; grandfather, Andrew Lyles, Sr.
Michael attended Spotswood High School, class of 2007. He was a hard-working carpenter with Lam's Home Improvements, which he considered more of a family, than a job. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and helping his dad cut wood, feeding the chickens, or just spending time with his mom, dad, and daughter every day at their home.
Michael would always get your attention when he would walk in the room. He was always joking and picking with everyone. He was one of a kind; he had a big heart of gold, always wanting to help someone in need. Michael will be greatly missed by his family and friends and all that knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his daughter, Adriana M. Lyles; his twin sister, Amanda Lyles; sister, Jessica Lyles and fiancé, Michael Hensley; brother, Christopher Lyles and fiancée, Amber Meadows; nephew, Jaden Williams; niece, Alayna Hensley; uncle, Danny Waugh and wife, Dixie; aunt, Elizabeth Arbogast; numerous cousins, friends and his loving companions (dogs) Copper and Stormy.
A Memorial visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2024 at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held 5 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Church of Solsburg.
