Lenora Paige Williams

Lenora Paige Cubbage Williams, 78, of Harrisonburg, VA passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Born on December 26, 1947 in Stanley, VA, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Carson Cubbage and Edith McCoy Cubbage.

She attended Page County High School and for many years, until her retirement, she worked at Sleepware. Lenora found the greatest joy in spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed gospel music. She was an active member of Church of Solsburg.

On January 18, 1964, she married Russell Harvey Williams and after 49 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on April 24, 2013.

Mrs. Williams is survived by a son, Rodney Williams and wife, Angel; a daughter, Kristen Tillman and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Tara Alexander and husband, Stewart, Heather Kibler, Blake Tillman, Katlyn Hensley and husband, Sean, Chloe Riley and husband, Liam; great-grandchildren, Shawn Shifflett, Brionna Shifflett Barrett and husband, Taylor, Mia Alexander, Jalen Alexander and Aubrey Smith; great-great-grandchildren, Emilia Hensley, Lenora Barrett, Everette Riley and Elayna Riley; brother, Aldine Cubbage; sister-in-law, Shirley Cubbage; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Kibler; brothers, Lester Cubbage, Mack Cubbage, Warfield Cubbage, and Emory Cubbage; sisters, Phyllis Gochenour, Ellary Owens, Linda Cubbage, Ella Turner and Celia Jewel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Church of Solsburg in Elkton with Pastor David Burrell officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
