Michael Steven Magee

Michael Steven Magee, 64, of South Boardman, passed away on Saturday August 9th, 2025. He was born on February 19, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, to Robert and Jeanette (Pariseau) Magee. Michael deeply loved his family and cherished his late wife, Beth, whom he believed was his true soulmate. A devoted father, he shared a special bond with his children and never lost his own playful, childlike spirit. He was hardworking and full of life. Michael had a special love for animals and enjoyed being outdoors. His hobbies included hunting in the fall, canning in the summer and fall, and music in every season. Blessed with an incredible memory, Michael could recall details others had long forgotten. He also had a gift for being wonderfully goofy, bringing smiles and laughter to those around him. He had a generous heart-donating his hair regularly, to help those in need. Michael is survived by his children: Melissa Akers, Robert Magee and Michael Magee II; 12 grandchildren; parents Robert Magee and Jeanette Thomas; siblings Sheryl (Mike) Geisler, Dorothy (Paul) Canary and Ron (Carrie) Magee; sisters-in-law Lisa Hesse and Roberta (Nick) Nuccio, a close relative Jeannie McCoy; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Beth Magee; grandparents Nana and Papa Pariseau; mother-in-law Gloria Claborn. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
