Michael Marinello Obituary

Michael "Mikey" Natale Marinello, born on August 21, 1981, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, passed away on April 15, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia. At the age of 43, Mikey left this world leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and cherished memories.
Mikey was an extraordinary soul with a natural talent for bringing joy to those around him. An excellent cook who sometimes served as a bartender, he loved to share his culinary creations alongside his infectious humor. Known as the consummate jokester, Mikey always had a way of serving up a good laugh, ensuring that smiles were never far away.
An avid sports enthusiast, Mikey held a particular passion for baseball and was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox. His love for the game extended beyond watching it; he was scouted in high school to play baseball at Pfeiffer University, highlighting his exceptional talent on the field.
Apart from his love for sports, Mikey held a fondness for English Bulldogs, reflecting his warm and playful spirit. Though not affiliated with a church, Mikey was a man of faith, a testament to his kind and loving nature.
Preceded in death by his father, Steven Marinello, and his sister, Catherine Marinello, Mikey's absence leaves a profound void in the lives of those who survive him. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Antonia Marinello-Sarno, and her husband, Daniel; his cherished niece, Kayleigh Acuna; and his devoted aunts, Laura Tessitore and JoAnn Horton.
Mikey's loving spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who knew and loved him. His ability to make others laugh, his passion for life, and his compassionate heart have left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
