Michael Allen Marsh
Michael Allen Marsh, born on June 20, 1953, of Chenango Forks, NY, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at the age of 72.
He is predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Kathryn Marsh; his sister Geraldine (Roland) Truex; his brother Daniel Marsh; his ex-wife Ann Marie Marsh; and his nephew Michael Jason Robinson Sr.
Michael is survived by his children, Jason (Ashley) Marsh of Chenango Forks, and Kelsie Marsh of Binghamton, NY. He was a proud grandfather to Gavin, Kallie, Rylee, and Brynlee Marsh, and Alicionna and Jordan Marsh.
He is also survived by his siblings, Jody (Michael) Ahtone of Yukon, OK; Patrick (Pegi) Marsh of Rockledge, FL; and Gregory (Robin) Abbott of Brooktondale, NY; and by many beloved nieces, including Sheila McKale, Shelly Truex, Sherry Truex, Kailye Marsh, Jamie (Joseph) Slater, and Jenna (Aaron) Batchelder. His extended family also includes his stepdaughter Gena Castillo, many great-nieces and nephews, and countless dear friends who will miss him deeply.
Michael loved fishing, hunting, watching westerns, and trying his luck with lottery tickets. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his enduring strength, and the deep love he had for his family and friends.
A celebration of life and fishing tournament will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's memory to the ALS Association-or, as he would've liked, buy yourself a lottery ticket and think of Mike.
