Michael J. McCAULEY

Michael J McCauley of Olmsted Falls Ohio Passed away October 20, 2025 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake Ohio. Mike was born in Fargo North Dakota in 1968. His family moved to North Ridgeville, Ohio where he spent the majority of his childhood and teen years. Mike attended Bowling Green State University where he was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity. His entrepreneurial spirit was sparked when he and a friend started a crab races business that served the campus bars. After graduating, Mike began his journey in the business community. The majority of his career was spent as a Master Trainer with Verizon Wireless.
Mike filled his life with music and in his late teens taught himself to play the guitar. He was very proud of his Irish Heritage. He was an avid sports fan and each year put in his due diligence as he prepared for his fantasy football drafts. An annual vacation with lifelong friends was the highlight of his year and he had many memories and stories that he recounted from those trips.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents John and Patricia (nee MacFarlane) McCauley. He is survived by his sister Christin (Roy) Hardy, his niece Rearden Hardy, and nephews Rorke (Alexandra), Nicholas, and Rand Hardy.
Services will be Saturday November 15, 2025 at McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home 25620 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, Ohio 44145. Visitation from 12-1. Service will immediately follow.
