He was born in Hollywood, FL on December 30, 1957 to Warren McCorkle and Barbara Brombacher McCorkle.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Paula; son Phillip McCorkle; daughter Stephanie McCorkle Beard; and his beloved granddaughter Saylor Beard. As well as his siblings: David McCorkle, Patti Pennington, Lynn Williams, Steve McCorkle and Susan Shorter.
He will be forever missed by all his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life to honor him will be announced at a later date.

My sincerest condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Mr. Michael McCorkle
I used to see him at the neighborhood Walmart where I work, he sometimes will go to the self checkout line if it wasn't long, I've even had the pleasure of ringing up his groceries on the register a few times.. he was very quiet and was always in and out; but I can tell he had a good spirit... I'm glad I had a chance to meet and have small talk like saying hi or have a nice day or helping him when the register messes up at self checkout
