Michael McElmurray

Michael "Mike" George McElmurray, 63, husband of the late Laura Peery McElmurray, passed away December 11, 2024.
A native of Beech Island, South Carolina, son of the late Jesse George McElmurray and Edythe "Edy" Davis McElmurray, he was a graduate of Clemson University, a retired employee of John Deere, and attended Christ Fellowship Cherrydale. Mike enjoyed home automation, tinkering with cars, woodworking, going to Disney, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers! He also had a love for airplanes and following his retirement, he worked part-time for Gatlinburg Pigeon Forge Airport.
Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Wilkie (Douglas) of Duncan, South Carolina and Megan Hampton of Deltona, Florida; a brother, Danny McElmurray of New Orleans, Louisiana; a sister, Kathy Sargent of Barnwell, South Carolina; a grandchild on the way; and several in-laws, a niece, and two nephews.
Receiving of friends will be held starting at 3pm with a memorial service to follow at 4pm on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Christ Fellowship Cherrydale.
