Michael F. Milinski, 72, of Kingsford passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain.
Mike was born January 23, 1951 in Green Bay, WI, son of the late Norbert and Lenore (Kreuser) Milinski. He graduated from Green Bay Preble High School in 1969 and went on to attend NWTC where he earned a degree in Electrical Instrumentation. Mike was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. He married Patti Wright on May 10, 1986 in Iron Mountain. Mike was employed at the Quinnesec Mill as an Electrical and Instrumentation Tech for 33 years, retiring in 2019. He was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford. Mike was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers and Bucks. He loved coaching and following his children's sporting events and enjoyed many dance recitals over the years. Mike was most proud of his family and their successes. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly.
Mike is survived by his wife, Patti; five children, Alex (Christina) Milinski of Iron Mountain, Brian (Sylvie) Milinski of Milwaukee, Mollie (Tyler) Langer of Green Bay, Jeremy Milinski of Milwaukee and Brett (Madison) Milinski of Green Bay; his mother-in-law, Beverly Wright; a brother, Pete (Laurie) Milinski of Kaukauna; two sisters, Karen (Jeff) Hayes and Kay (Dennis) Makos, both of Green Bay; three grandchildren, Theo and Chloe Milinski, baby Langer due in August; several nieces and nephews; and very special family/friends, Tom & Denise Hurzeler and Mike & Lori Feira.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Milinski and his father-in-law, Gerald Wright.
Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 am on Friday, March 17 at Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford. Msgr. Joseph Gouin will offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in Cemetery Park.
