Michael Patrick Moore, 61 of Pittsburgh, PA formerly of Rochester NY passed away on September 29, 2025. Born on June 10, 1964 in Rochester, NY he is the son of the Michael and Jeanne Moore.
Beloved husband of Rosanne Elizabeth Lightowler-Moore; Loving father to Matthew, Micheal, Jakob, Amanda, and Josiah Moore; Brother to Steven, Sheryl, Rachel, Joseph Moore; He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Michael served his country with honor and integrity.
Michael was a true rock star -he lived life to the fullest and brought energy, passion, and heart to everything he did. He had a deep love for his family, friends, and pets, and his presence made every gathering brighter.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Michael was a devoted member of the Bills Mafia and a passionate supporter of his beloved New York Mets.
Michael also had a deep love for music and attended countless concerts throughout his life. Of all the shows he experienced, none topped his favorite - Metallica.
Known by many as "the world's best salesman," Michael had an extraordinary gift-he could sell anyone anything, and he did it with charm, humor, and a genuine love for connecting with people. Above all, Michael was a great man full of love, laughter, and loyalty who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on October 14, 2025 at 12pm at St. Elizabeth of Hungary (Triumph of the Holy Cross) Catholic Church, 1 Grove Place, Pittsburgh PA 15236. Interment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations to https://gofund.me/e16e3547c for a college fund established for his daughter, Josiah.
