Michael David Moses, 47, resident of Gaston County NC passed away Tuesday August 5th 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. Michael was born at Novant Health Presbyterian in Charlotte, NC on July 17th, 1978. The eldest son of Johnny Mac Moses and Beverly Collier Moses, he loved Nascar, the Dallas Cowboys, and UNC Carolina basketball. He was a graduate of East Gaston High School and attended Blue Ridge Community College in Black Mountain, NC where he obtained his certification for heating and air and electrical.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, John Franklin Moses and Nettie Roberts Moses and Marvin Gatewood Collier and Elizabeth Smith Collier. He is survived by his loving parents, Johnny and Beverly Moses; sister, Cynthia Mason and her husband. Russell Mason, sister, Stephanie Moses Haynes and her husband, Jeremiah Haynes; brother, Jeffrey Moses and his wife, Danielle Moses, and his brother, Brandon Moses; nieces and nephew, Kyndell Haynes, Shelby Moses, and Tristan Haynes.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Goshen Free Will Baptist, 1300 W Catawba Ave., Mount Holly, NC. A service will be held at 1:00 PM at the church. Pastor Leon Perkins will officiate. Michael will be laid rest at Pineview Cemetery, Mount Holly, after the service.
