Michael Edward Noe, Jr.
01/11/1965 - 02/20/2026
Michael Edward Noe, Jr., a beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, was called to his heavenly home on February 20, 2026, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in Austin, Texas, on January 11, 1965, to Michael Sr. and Gerda Hecker Noe, Michael's early years were marked by a love for learning and the outdoors. He grew up to be a man of strong faith, boundless humor, and remarkable intellect, leaving an indelible impact on all who were blessed to cross his path.
Michael's academic journey was nothing short of impressive. After graduating from McCallum High School in 1983, he pursued his passion for engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a BS degree. His thirst for knowledge didn't stop there; he went on to obtain an MBA from Texas Tech University and later, a JD in Intellectual Property Law from The University of Houston. Michael's professional life was a testament to his dedication and expertise, culminating in a successful 30-year career as an intellectual property attorney, most recently as a respected partner at Dickinson Wright PLLC.
He met life's challenges with the same sharp wit and keen analysis that made him an exceptional attorney. Michael's Christian faith was the cornerstone of his life, guiding him with grace and strength.
Michael's zest for life was evident in his many interests. Whether he was hiking the trails, serving an ace on the tennis court, or perfecting his swing on the golf course, he did so with contagious enthusiasm. Nice meals, travel, and live music events were always on his calendar, and he embraced these moments with the same fervor he had for his faith and work.
Known for his intelligence, kindnesss, and analytical mind, Michael had a knack for bringing light to any situation. His humor was as bright as the Texas sun, and he believed that laughter was a gift to be shared generously. Even in the face of his illness, Michael's spirit never waned. He faced each day with a smile, a joke, or a witty observation that kept his family and friends uplifted.
Michael leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his loving wife, Emily Reodica Rollins; his children, Landry, Lauren, Parker, and Madison Noe; his step-children, Nathan, Joshua, Kirstin, and David Rollins; his sisters, Monica Lawson and Heidi Canion, and brother-in-law Bobby Lawson; as well as ten nephews, nieces, and their spouses, and five grand nephews and nieces. Each of these individuals was a cherished part of his life, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments and happiness.
As we bid farewell to Michael, we celebrate a life lived fully and faithfully. Michael's journey on earth may have ended, but his spirit, love, and the memories he created will continue to inspire and bring joy to those he left behind. Until we meet again, may he rest in peace and perpetual joy.
Celebration of Life service will be held at LifeFamily Austin Chapel (8901 W State Highway 71, Austin, TX 78735) on March 21, 2026 at 11AM.
