Michael served in the Navy from 01/03/1985 until 6/10/1994 where he achieved the rank ADAN, Aviation Machinist's Mate Airman.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Gia Normile, Step father Imre Bocs, Brother Gene Messersmith II, Daughter Karen Normile, Son Christopher Normile, Son Anthony Normile and his wife Jessica Normile of Oliver Springs, and, Grandchildren Sydney Normile and Tucker Normile, and a host of cousins and aunts.
Special thanks to Methodist Medical Center for their love and care.
The family will receive friends at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 12:30 pm. www.holleygamble.com
