Michael O'Connor Obituary
Mike was raised in West Roxbury. He attended Boston College Class of 1961 and went on to Northeastern University Grad School.
He worked for the International Paper Company for many years. When he retired, he went to work for Centerplate on the Woods Hole Ferry.
Mike enjoyed skiing, swimming, and reading.
For 59 years he was the beloved husband of Carola (Joyce) O'Connor. Devoted father of Michael F. O'Connor, Jr., and Lawrence Joseph O'Connor and his wife Lori. Adored grandfather of William M. O'Connor and Katherine J. O'Connor. Dear brother of Patricia Prindle, Mary O'Connor, and the late Jane Martin and Larry O'Connor. Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Seton, 481 Quaker Road, North Falmouth on Wednesday, March 27 at 11AM. Burial will follow at the MA National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or via dana-farber.org/gift
