Michael Aldean O'Dell

Michael Aldean O'Dell, 79, of Nettie passed away on Monday morning, April 24, 2023 at CAMC, Memorial surrounded by family.
He was born on February 4, 1944 in Rainelle; he was the son of the late Early Aldine O'Dell and Retha Faye O'Dell.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angela Denise Seward.
Michael was a retired coal miner. He was an avid outdoorsmen that loved to fish and hunt. He was a Baptist by faith. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Denise Taylor O'Dell; four sons, Glenn and Bonnie of Nettie, Jeff and Rhonda of Arizona, David and Michelle of Nettie and Mark and Pamela of Nettie; step son, Michael Austin and Jen of Roanoke; brother, Bodie (Sherrie) O'Dell of Nettie; grandchildren, Amanda (Harley) Hall, Kathryn (Patrick) Luck, Shelby O'Dell, Wade O'Dell, Cassidy O'Dell, Briar O'Dell, Opie (Cesar) O'Dell, Casey O'Dell; step grandchildren, Izabella Austin and Christopher Austin; 6 great grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Nettie Baptist Church with Pastor David Acree and Pastor Troy George officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Nettie. Visitation will be from 1:00 until time of service at the church.
