Michael Pascarella

Michael Pascarella, of Richboro, died on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He was 92 years old.
Michael was the beloved husband of the late Viola Di Mario Pascarella.
Michael was a quiet "Ragazzo Duro" a "tough guy" in Italian. Born a US citizen, but raised in Italy, he came to the United States alone at the age of 17. He served in the United States Air Force for four years, married, and started a family, and worked every single day of his life until the age of 62. When he retired, he devoted the rest of his life to caring for his family. His greatest example of being a father and a husband was how he cared for his wife, Viola for so many years, who suffered from dementia. Whether working two jobs, going to work with a fever, or caring for his wife and family day and night, he never complained once. He attended as many of his grandsons' sporting events as he could. And he never refused anyone's request for help. He was extremely generous and he was very devoted to his Catholic faith, and served with honor as an usher at his parish until he became ill. Without saying a word, he taught others how to be a husband, a father, a grandfather, a deacon, and a good Christian man.
Michael will be missed by his children Catherine Pascarella, and Deacon Michael Jr. (Susan Pascarella); his grandchildren, Michael (Cameron) and Matthew (Rachel); and his 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Gabriel Pascarella and Frank Pascarella. He will be missed by his many loving nieces and nephews, as well as his cocker spaniel, Pino.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet Michael's family on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 10:00am, until the start of his Funeral Mass at 11:00am, at St. Bede the Venerable Church at 1071 Holland Road in Holland, PA 18966. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Cheltenham, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens' Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude’s Place in Memphis, TN 38105.
