Michael L. Pitroski

Michael L. Pitroski, "Big Mike", age 61 of Parma, Ohio, passed away suddenly on September 3, 2023. Beloved husband of Donna L. Pitroski (nee Kraemer) for 39 years; devoted father of Michael T. Pitroski (Katie Sheppard); loving son of the late Michael and Rosemarie Pitroski (nee Balint); dear brother of Bobbi Reese (Herb Johnson), Terry Scheiman, Susan Switzler (Chuck), and the late Matthew Pitroski; cherished son-in-law of Donald and Audrey Kraemer; brother-in-law of Dee Varicalli (Frank), Dawn Rutizer (John Davenport), and Dan Kraemer (Jackie); uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Mike received his HVAC Certification from West Side Institute of Technology. In his younger years, along with having full-time employment, he had his own side business called, Iceberg Mike. He worked for Parma Hospital as a Maintenance Mechanic for ten years and most recently was employed at Cuyahoga Community College as a Plant Operations Mechanic for 19 years.
Mike enjoyed the outdoors, concerts, going on vacation and to casinos, collecting unique items, playing video games, and never missing a day of buying scratch-off lottery tickets. He loved his pet parrot, Nixon, and taught him everything he said, good and bad. Mike had a great sense of humor and never missed a party. He was a very giving person and had a huge heart. Mike was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
A Celebration of Life honoring Mike will be held at a later date.
