Michael Gene Post, born on January 2, 1959, passed away very unexpectedly due to heart complications on May 19, 2025.

Michael went to Ruskin High School. Michael was a very compassionate, kind loving man who would give a stranger the shirt off his back. He loved his gardening, fishing, and hunting. He loved cooking, barbequing, NASCAR, and was a huge fan of the late Dale Earnhardt. Michael worked for McGrew Printing as a web designer printer for many years. He also worked for Metropolitan Security as a Lieutenant for the Kansas City Metro area including Longview College before he retired due to health issues.

Michael is preceeded in death by his parents, Henry Alfred Post and Christine Post (Foltin). He leaves behind his Life Long Partner, Tina Hankins Post; his two sisters: Doris Brown and Tammy Starforth; his step-sons: Vincent Begulia, Anthony Begulia, Nicolas Begulia; his daughter, Caitlin A. Post; his grandsons: Logan and Josiah Begulia; best friends: Merle Hedlock, Ronald Hunt, and Gene Purtle; his 3 dogs: Ruger, Sami, and Honey; numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Michael will be deeply missed. He had an infectious smile and outgoing personality. He will be forever in our hearts and loved. R.I.P. my love. Until we meet again. You are flying high with the angels.
