PRINCE, Michael J., passed away on August 15, 2025. He was 77. Beloved husband of Carol Otte (nee Brewer). Loving father of Jennifer Jakob. Dearly loved Poppy of James Jakob. Dear brother of Stephen Prince and his wife, Eileen. He is lovingly survived by his nephew, Stephen Prince and his great niece and nephews, Brian, Lizzy, Carson and Eliott.
Michael grew up in Wildwood and was a 1965 graduate of Wildwood Catholic High School. He was drafted for the US ARMY while in college at Goldy Beacom College. Michael was a proud veteran serving our country in Gelnhausen, Germany at the Coleman Kaserne Army Base until his honorable discharge. Upon discharge, he came home and lived in Blackwood where he raised his daughter. His working career was spent with various companies in a bookkeeping position. He was able to go back to college at night and earn his Bachelors degree. Throughout his career, he was Controller at 2 companies and was eventually able to buy his own bookkeeping firm. He built a successful company taking care of accounting for small businesses until his retirement in 2016. Michael had many passions. He loved the arts, dancing, singing, movies, history and researching his familys' genealogy. His heart was overflowing with love for his family. He was a devoted father and grandfather; Jennifer and James brought joy to his soul. Twenty seven years ago he hit the jackpot when he married the light of his life, Carol. Michael was not afraid to die as he had a deep faith. But, if he could have stayed another day to be with those he loved most, he would have. He will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday August 21 from 6-8pm at the Bradley Funeral Home 601 Rt. 73 South at Evesham Road, Marlton and Friday from 10-11am at the Wiley Church 99 East Main St. Marlton where a Funeral Service will be held at 11am.
