Michael Wayne Pullen, age 67, of Lexington, Indiana, and the son of the late Bernard Pullen, Sr. and Nadine (Shoch) Pullen, was born on November 29, 1956, in Jefferson, Indiana. On October 6, 1973, he was united in marriage to Patty Arbuckle, and they enjoyed 51 wonderful years together. He was a forklift operator and had worked in shipping and receiving at various companies throughout his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, shooting guns, cooking on his grill, and loved to entertain in his party room. He loved his dogs, Pixie and Boots, and had never met a stranger. Mr. Pullen passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
His life will be cherished by his wife, Patty of Lexington; his son: Benjamin J. Pullen and his wife, Jessica, of Scottsburg, Indiana; his daughter: Lisa Morris and her husband, Codie of New Albany, Indiana; his grandchildren: Abby Grace Morris and Addison Pullen; his sisters: Betty Hayes of Henryville, Indiana, Wanda Christie of Lexington, Patricia Moore of Lexington, and Sheila Meagher of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Tina Denise Pullen, and his brother: Bernard Pullen, Jr..
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Christensen-Hoagland Family Funeral Home in Scottsburg. Friends and family may gather from 3:00 PM until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Arbor Day Foundation. Friends are invited to leave condolence messages for the family at www.christensenfamilyfuneral.com.
