Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 2:30 PM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
Michael was born on August 10, 1952 in New York City, NY, son of the late James and Rose Puma. He loved to fish and he was the chef in the family on all occasions.
Survivors in addition to his wife Theresa of 48 years are: two sons: Christian Puma and wife Christine of Ladson and Jason Puma and wife Kaitlin of Mashpee, MA; four grandchildren: Christian Puma, Jr., Camryn Rae Puma, Logan Michael Puma, and Dylan Nunzio Puma; sister, Theresa Puma Blank and husband Thomas of Port Jefferson Station, NY; and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to his late parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Charles Puma.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Theresa, Christian, Jason and families in the passing of our cousin Michael. We were saddened to hear this news. I'm sure the reunion in heaven is great as Aunt Rae, Uncle Jimmy and Charlie welcomed him "home". May his soul rest in God's loving embrace and his spirit continue to be with all of you. Look for the "hugs" from heave he will send. Love never dies and our loved ones find the most beautiful ways to continue sending their love to those they cherish here on earth.
