Michael Scott Ransom born on December 26, 1983 passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2025.
Michael grew up moving frequently, but called his home out in the country of St. Martin, MS. He had attended D'iberville High School. In which he loved to tease his wife about the rivalry their schools held. He loved making others laugh and was the funny guy no matter the setting. He prided himself in grilling and cooking for others. But, nothing made him more proud than watching his "Bigs" recently graduate and start in their "big kid" jobs along with watching his Munchkin grow. He was a devoted and loving husband that lived by the statement "whatever you want, babe." Family get togethers were his request every time he was in from his offshore job. He attended Crossroads Church of the Nazarene in which he was a proud member of the security team.
Michael was preceded in death by Uncle Chuck Montgomery and Pawpaw, Richard Cismar.
He will forever be remembered by his beloved wife of nearly 19 years, Samantha, their children Jayda, Carter, and Henleigh plus their bonus child, Jacob Cochran.
He also leaves behind his chosen honorary parents Robert and Alicia Jones, brother-in law Jeffrey Jones and niece, Alivia. As well as his Uncle Jr. and Aunt Peggy Fairley, Aunt Sharon Montgomery, and a multitude of cousins and friends.
Services will be held at Crossroads Church of the Nazarene on Saturday May 10, 2025 with visitation beginning at 1pm followed by the celebration of life at 2pm.
